I always thought it was so interesting that in Genesis 1: 3-5 on the first day God created light, divided the light from the darkness and called it night and day. It wasn't until the 4th day in Genesis 1:16 that God made the sun, moon and stars to seperate the night from day, mark the seasons and provide light upon the earth. This indicates to us that the true light of the world is Jesus and these other lights are servants of God to complement His creation. God is not only the Creator of the world, he is the sustainer of the world through Christ. Man cannot create something out of nothing...he can only change the form of something already existing. Man cannot create life except through the God given process of conception...but remember it is God that breathes life into this creation. What a mighty God we serve...He is worthy to be praised!
