Relying on a election system that has fucked us over multiple times isn't very comforting. Especially since so many people are on the brink of financial ruin right now. Two more years of this shit only to have an election carrot dangling out in front of us? With diesel fuel running out, rising inflation and rising energy costs people aren't gonna make it another 2 years without some serious hardship. But hey, we can vote in a clearly rigged system again!

The flip side is that this is all optics and as much as I hate saying that, I believe it is. Just frustrated by the duration of the plan.
