But to basically hear him say that the thieves will be ALLOWED to keep the diamonds for the purpose of what amounts to teaching us a lesson (never mind those of us who are awake and tried to do the right thing!)...

Of COURSE people who supported this movement (with blood, sweat, tears, reputation, $$$, etc.) are going to feel betrayed! Of course people who supported him will turn on him after this kick in the nuts! (After years worth of abuse by an overthrown illegitimate government, mind you!)
