I think that Youtube video is a clip of a Youtube video from last year. The data regarding that 865 number is from 2021, as shown in the video. Not sure why this old clip came up today. That said, yeah, in terms of the media Taiwan and China (and probably other Asian countries) are still pushing the virus hard. I mention Taiwan and China because I have family there. Not sure if people there are buying it now. Regardless of whether they buy it, they mask up by default and believe themselves noble for sacrificing for the 'greater good'. They believe they can comply themselves out of tyranny basically. Not sure if they have jab mandates, but the only reason they wouldn't is because they know the peer pressure is there for people to get the jab.

Edited to add: Actually come to think of it, I believe 2021 to 2022 was when Taiwan "lost control" of covid and the number of covid cases increased drastically. It probably worked out that way to destroy the narrative that the jabs cause more deaths than covid, to keep people scared, and to get people to get jabbed.
