Just curious... I have noticed that since the vaxxine rollout, a lot of dental hygienist jobs have opened up where I am located. This market had been very tight for a number of years. Months could go by without offices looking for help - usually because someone retired or left on maternity leave. Dental hygienists are some of the wokest professionals on the planet. Since I left clinical practice, I have not had any recent contact with any of the dentists in my area. Frankly, many of them are just as woke as their hygienists - only the dentists are not as fanatical about it. In the beginning of the rollout, I had heard that many offices had no available hygiene services because either they had no hygienist, or because their hygienist was out sick. Do you think this subset of professionals are suffering the same loss of available workers as other employment genres? Are they sick, disabled, or worse yet, dead? Would appreciate your insights. You dental professionals are on the front lines with this and I don't think many can appreciate your unique risks. Stay safe fren.
