He's probably book smart but not street smart. That's how I look at it. My husband is super smart (IQ) but sometimes I really have to question his logic! When he explains an issue to me, I let him know there are/were fewer steps or a simpler way to his process. And then I proceed with my good old common sense to tell him my simple terms or way of doing something! (BTW-Married 34 years!)
