primarily, it's a tactic that is used to "tie-in" anyone who repeats or follows the person. if people fall for the Mossad agent known as Alex Jones & puppets all his stories & "beliefs", then when he goes & says completely outrageous things & does so in an outrageous manner, the intent is to look as crazy as possible. The result... all who "follows" him gets labeled the same thing he gets labeled. "Conspiracy theorists... racist... nazi..., etc., etc., etc.)

These people are known as "honey-pots". They have to throw in some truths here & there, to attract the some-what free-thinkers. David Icke, Alex Jones, all these "leaders in the Patriot community" that constantly get stickied & front-paged, etc.

There are people that have had their lives ruined, taken out & discredited for FAR LESS than what those I've mentioned have done. Jones, Hannity, Limbaugh... all controlled, honey-pot gatekeepers. Celebrities are used in the same manner.
