Yeah I get that. But if I told say...my wife that. She has a really weak stomach. She doesn't like to think about inflation, much less anything else I delve into on a daily basis. But if I told her that, she wouldn't watch the video, but she would go online to see if it was real, and if she realized it was real, she would be horrified, but there's no way she'd require hospitalization. I can't imagine anyone who would, honestly.
I just don't think any piece of information short of "You have been infected with something that will kill you soon if you don't go to the hospital to get this treatment" would actually cause that many people to head to the hospital. I've just always thought this interpretation of Q's comment was misguided at best and doesn't give people enough credit for how they would handle information. People have known about cannibalistic serial killers for decades, nobody goes to the hospital because of that information. It's just not a realistic expectation.
