Just because some of these normies wake up to some extent, this should not be automatically equated to a vote for Trump. Those same normies will never vote for Trump no matter how bad things get. TDS is a real thing and the vitriol they have for Trump is not going to be changed because they now see the light on some issues. We must not conflate these two things together. They may awaken and may leave the Dem party - but most will still vote for the potato, or not at all, rather than vote for Trump.

Trump is a very polarizing figure. It is hard for people to be indifferent about him. They either love him or hate him - which is a separate thing apart from the issues voters normally have. Many are leaving the Dem party - but that does not mean they are switching to Rep or MAGA. I know many that are now independents and it will be a cold day in hell before they even consider being a Republican - much less vote for Trump. All I am saying is that we need to take the news about the veil being pulled off the eyes for some normies and automatically assume that is going to go well for Trump in 2024. They are not the same thing.
