It’s understandable that some Members don’t want McCarthy, what isn’t understandiable is they have no credible plan to win the Speakership. My bet is enough holdouts flinch and vote McCarthy in.

Edit: it takes 218 votes to be elected Speaker. One Republican would have to vote with all the Democrats to end up with Jeffries. But, we can’t rule out a RINO breaking ranks or some kind of back door deal between RINOS and Dems.
