It's because AJ is going against the deep state narrative and is highly visible. Everybody who is anybody has at least heard of Alex Jones.

I have mixed emotions about AJ.

Let's say he is a good guy. The deep state wants to shut him up because he is fucking up their narrative.

Let's say he is a bad guy; controlled opposition. The deep state wants to make an example out of him in order to scare into silence those questioning the deep state narrative.
