As far as I can tell, he's looking to first make the minimum sentence for a convicted pedophile life in prison without possibility of parole. At the current time, they're unable to implement the death penalty in pedophilia cases due to restrictions on meeting the criteria.

They're looking for ways to change this, but I'm getting the sense that they'll get the life-no parole penalty in place first. IMHO get the pedos removed from society permanently either way. Let's face it - life in prison for pedophiles is likely to be living hell for them.
