Ahh thank you , you know it was a horror , worse than most could ever realize ,, an Oprah story ,,she’s a demon and hopefully will pay for her crimes but I digress … anyway , the abuse was major, physical, broken bones scars etc , sexual was as you know long lasting affects , but the mental and emotional is always the worse as we tend to continue destroying ourselves long after we are free … the good news is ,, no exaggeration, our father and our Lord Jesus has completely healed me , I don’t speak of it much but when I do it’s almost like I’m speaking about a diffferent person! I’ll admit the devil does his best to beat on my mind and play those old videos of childhood trama , mostly because as you know it’s just so difficult to imagine how a mother could do such horrific abuse to her own children , but I know his , the devils schemes and I don’t linger in the whole WHY pit ! Once delivered we have to walk it out like anyone does , work on not being codependent , not believing we are worthless etc it took me years ,, here I was a model ( got out of the biz cause I saw what goes on ) but here I was this beautiful girl and I hated myself and was only attracted to abusers ,, that’s the hard bondage to break ! It’s almost like we live out our abusers prophecy you’re no good you’ll never amount to anything you’re worthless useless etc. I’m a therapist so I try to help others along their journey of healing but unless they except the Lord it’s a tough goal and they never really are free! Well anyway I’m just so grateful that you had wonderful parents and that you didn’t take it for granted like so many do it’s such a blessing to hear those stories of love and safety , tell them often , you never know who’s heart you’ll touch! I think God for this board for being able to get educated concerning this world that we live in and to hear great stories of redemption cheers friend
