“It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.” ― Mark Twain

First of all I am truly saddened by your story. I too have experienced a similar situation in my family. It has divided us like no other time.... It is at a point of 'Don't ask, don't discuss, don't tell'. Prior to this we talked openly about almost everything.

From this, I realized Mark Twain has spoken a great maxim. But, there is more to this....

It appear to me increasingly that people were unwilling to give up their jobs; that is to say their stand of living and convinced themselves to consent to the clot shot. They wittingly or unwittingly chose to believe because it was 'approved' by government, it was the reason for preserving their jobs and life style. To this day, they stand in defiance of believing otherwise because to them there was no alternative but the importance of their standard of living. There's no doubt in my mind that keeping one's life style is important. However, there is a paradox here that many of us know all too well. Standard of living ≠ death. Nor can it ever be equated to this. On the contrary, the truth is:

Standard of living = wealth. And you don't have to be rich to have wealth. It's actually being satisfied with your income and lifestyle.

Jesus said: "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Matt. 19:24

It will get worse. Their coercion of taking the clot shot is only the beginning, which will lead to acceptance of even greater coercion. A thief will always return asking for greater ransoms. The greatest greatest thief of all is the one that steals precious lives.

"But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.” Matt. 11:24
