I think federal income tax is just wrong, but the idea that taxes don't really pay for anything useful is just silly.
If we really want to get rid of the income tax, we need to find alternative things to pay for all this.
Cutting out all the BS programs and subsidies is obviously step one. But are we going to go back to paying toll fees to drive every few miles? Are people really dedicated enough to pay $10+ for a gallon of milk? And considering how many Anons I've argued with here about their need for public schools, that is going to be one hell of a headache. Not sure how much money anyone here is paying in taxes, but if it comes close to paying for private school tuition, then hats off to you.
