I feel this post is to me. I use the Link Post often because it is quick to do and provides the sauce (sauce = source for the newbies) for the subject I am sharing.
That said, with respect to our great Mods here, I will add a sentence to title about why I share the link. I sometimes do this anyways if a heightened response within me occurs to it.
To help further, I may highlight particular content in what I have read that seems pertinent to why I share in the comments. I find that formatting the comment using the "> " and two or three asterisks around significant words to bold and italicize them" to quote the article clarifies what is the author's content from what is my own comment about it.
Finally, I hope to keep my pledge that what I write be truthful, and if I am uncertain of the truth of it, I will cite that I do not know if it is true and provide the source of the statement as best I can. (Again, one more reason I like Link Posts.)
