Interesting, I don't usually remember dreams, but last night I dreamt there was a robin sitting on the post office steps all puffed up and cold, I went to rescue it, because of course I did, but then woke up.The redwing blackbirds are a sure sign up here, they come at the same time the robins do. And as far as planting, it's always been iffy in Northern Vermont, safest bet is Memorial Day weekend to avoid a killing frost, usually safe to plant potatos and onions and plant out spinach and lettuce, kale and chard may 15th, but, snow in May is not unheard of, we have gotten snowstorms on Mothers Day in norther Vermont, and Easter? In 35 years, I have yet to see an Easter that you don't need a warm jacket, maybe once?
