Clinical psychology is hijacked and they arent allowed to even acknowledge, treat or explore any of these kids other psych issues as in many states it is their code of practice to affirm these trans ideas and they will lpse their jobs if they encourage the child to question that. Its essentialy a road bump before getting them onto drugs when it should be a concrete roadblock that explores every other treatment option and condition before resulting in life altering surgery.
He has interviews with many of these detransitioner teens and while i dont agree with alot of their lack of ownership of the problem they are ultimately right that these health proffesionals should have questioned them and tried alternative treatments first. Problem is these people dont take no for an answer, places like reddit groom them into getting what they want and signposting them to drs that will fast track them even quicker onto drugs.
