I don't normally take pleasure in seeing someone lose their job. I know exactly what that means for people and how hard it is. But in this case I will make an exception. DEI is a total racket, total hustle. What these "consultants" charge is completely absurd. DEI budgets take money away from far more deserving employees and initiatives. Plus it rewards non value added work that only benefits the race hustlers.
I wrote about my woke school district experiences. The district hired DEI consultants to put on a seminar on white privilege. It was in the very high six figures. Of course teachers haven't gotten raises in several years and often have to buy supplies out of their own paycheck due to schools being underfunded. But at least they got to listen to some woman who makes 3-5x what they do in a year on how awful a person they are for just being white and how they aren't "doing enough" for the BiPOC, gender nonbinary students etc.
For a bonus they got to sit through a doctoral theses length diatribe on how they are part of "systemic racism". And of course the woman making a multiple six figure salary had to go into lengthy detail about how oppressed they were as (insert victim group here) because of Bigfoot, Elvis, Wal Mart, the patriarchy, or whatever rando word salad vomit sprinkled with buzzwords they spit out.
