I appreciate everyone's comments, but they are all fitting the pattern I've noticed.

A mod comes in and says basically don't worry about it everything's fine.

A person claims paper ballots and hand counting would fix everything. That didn't stop a corrupt sheriff in Athens from commandeering the ballot boxes to give himself time to alter them before the hand count.

Another suggests it should be verboten to talk about it at all. Security, you know.

Another suggests having faith is all you really need.

And a great suggestion that Q and the plan will take care of it all and we can just sit back and watch the movie.

And then right on cue, another person shows up to remind us that this has to get bloody. The next step of course, is that this thread gets "flushed."
