edit: Holy shit, I just saw a video showing how in China they DO make fake eggs, the yolk, and the white, synthetic materials. You can't tell until you cut open the yolk. So they appear real visually and to the touch, but not if dissected. Also, my info about the white chickens is incorrect.

Fake meat is supposedly being grown the same way cancerous tumors replicate their cells. No thanks. As for fake eggs, it would be a tad difficult to fake the contents within an eggshell. They are white because the breed of poor pitiful exploited chickens they use, produce white eggs. They bred chickens to have those monstrous heavy breast meats people want to buy.
