The January 6th defendants have petitioned Kevin McCarthy to release the footage to them and their lawyers. I havent heard of resistance to that petition, in fact I havent heard anything about it since that day, but I believe this is a warning that he better give these political prisoners equal access, and the stick is the threat of lawsuits. Other MSM has also been squawking for the tapes. If its not a warning it could just be providing political cover for McCarthy to release it.

Honestly, I think that even if they did have to force McCarthy to bow to the pressure (or if his intent all along was a broader release), that this was the best way to get the info to the people in a form that is digestible. If one team is releasing small amounts that the public wrap their heads around, and a couple weeks later there is a D5 of government culpability wash over them, the risk of loosing momentum through overwhelming less focused minds and sending it to the memory hole is lessened. It keeps this story in the news much longer while being more easily understood by our low IQ normies. It lets the truthful narrative build to a climax.

Tucker may not be the best person to be sole keeper of the flame, but he has shown a willingness to give people more honest coverage than the bulk of MSM.
