For Macs, I suggest the much easier to install and use browsers Tor Browser or Firefox.
Ungoogle-Chromium is harder to install. As it requires command lines. It does have an installer for Macs. But both Tor Browser and Firefox are much easier to install. They both also have stronger security and privacy than Ungoogle-Chromium.

Alternative 1 of 3. Tor Browser.
Tor Browser is easy to install and use. And it is by far the strongest privacy and security. But it is slower.

Firefox is the easiest to install and use. It is also the fastest of all browser. It has good security and privacy. But not as strong as Tor Browser above. Both Tor Browser and Firefox could be installed on the same device and use at the same time.
