Sorry I read too fast...but the new is really the old...in fact the whole SIDS "crisis" caused them to recommend babies be placed on their backs for sleeping...which is a horrible sleep position for young babies. Anyone that has had babies know that a young baby can move their head side to side to insure breathing and if they regurgitate anything it would be expelled in a belly sleeping position.
On the other hand...on their backs...if they regurgitate anything it could cause choking because of the position. Also moving/crawling starts in a tummy down position. And yet...on their backs is the new "accepted" position for sleeping babies. A baby first turns over from tummy to back...not vice versa...everything is just wrong about the old SIDS which is really the new SIDS and all the recommendations that came from this...the sad thing is the "professionals" think this is just a sleep position issue...they really do not have a clue..."God will harshly judge these evil people"...Amen
