People with epilepsy aren’t even allowed to join the military.
Or hypothetically, if they do join, and don't disclose they have epilepsy, because they love the USA and always wanted to be a soldier... And by luck they make it out of basic training without a SEIZURE and without taking their phenobarbital... And with additional luck (and medication) they manage to go two years without a seizure, and they prove to be an exemplary soldier... And THEN one day have a seizure during drills, and then have their CO find out they lied about epilepsy from the beginning... Then get dressed down for two hours straight about what a danger they put everyone in, about what would happen if they had a seizure on the battlefield... Then they finally get discharged, but instead of a dishonorable, they get a medical discharge because other than lying about epilepsy, they are such an outstanding soldier and patriotic person the brass decides that no longer being a soldier is punishment enough.
Ok that wasn't hypothetical at all. Actually Happened. Back in 60s. Guy was well known in our circle.
Real life is fascinating.
So what's more dangerous.. A vaxxxed soldier or one with epilepsy? Lol
