I have wine on my sys; not sure if I tried a windoze version for the game but Proton sounds interesting.

I finally gave up looking for a file in mid-December. I might have had the right one but, since I am not a whiz on Linux and am an old fart and I'd pulled out enough hair at that point, I finally set it aside.

I had made some notes: what to do with this? libgl1-mesa-glx_22.0.1-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb

I think the file I needed was libgl1-mesa-glx_22.0.1-1

could not figure out just how to use this: libgl1-mesa-glx_22.0.1-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb I am not good with the terminal; I lack a lot of background experience and knowledge. There is so much going on, so much else to keep up with.

Then there's this: https://pkgs.org/download/libgl1-mesa-glx Didn't know how to make use of this.

Have not heard of "Heroic Launcher." I shall look it up tomorrow.
