It's hardly even controversial to say that that book, and the formal systems built around it ruled the world for almost two millennia, but show evidence that it was intentional fuckery created by the same exact Powers That Be that brought about the Secular movement that rules today (a "reset" of The Matrix), and brains explode with hatred and vitriol.

Showing evidence that questions whether or not the "God" (YHWH) of the Bible is really the god people think it is (Source) causes so much cognitive dissonance that the rejection is total and immediate. In any case, if Q et al really are on the side of We The People, I suggest such disclosure must happen, 100%. But if it is given out in ways that only a few will see it at first, that will allow it to percolate, and develop into the common consciousness in a more "natural" way.
