I live in Dallas and sometimes go to social charity events that are conservative. I do not have money, most of the time, just invited.

There is a noticeable camp divide here between the money/power brokers.

There is the Bush camp on one side and the Perot camp on the other side.

Even though Perot has passed, people still identify as Perot supporters.

What i have learned.

The Bush camp is mainly financial people. These are the people that have an office in Old Parkland or trying to get an office at Old Parkland. Many are stuck at The Crescent, lol.

The Bushies all went to the "best" universities and network like crazy. They are not very smart. All of their wealth is through connections and inheritance.

The Perot people? These are the self made people. Most of them did not go to the "best" university, but they are extremely intelligent and have a lot of common sense.

They are willing to think outside the box and could care less about need to network for social status. Network for helping their interests? That is a different thing.

What is most fun is when these 2 camps have had a few to drink and listen to them argue conservative politics.

The Perot camp always comes out on top, but then, i am biased.

Finally, the Perot people are definitely Trump people now. The Bushies are Desantis people.
