Based on that same view you shouldn’t use the internet either however and that is impractical in the same way.

You aren’t going to be able to avoid the inevitable. IMO it’s much smarter to not avoid it and instead use it to your advantage. Take it head on. Fire with fire. It’s like trying to avoid nuclear warfare by not having nukes. How pragmatic would that be?
