Amy Coney Barrett (SCOTUS) has a emergency review request to seek injunctive hold on a suit against Illinois/Naperville saying their ban on assault weapons & high capacity magazines is unconstitutional. IL submitted their argument against injunction "don't do it" appeal today. How convenient a mass shooting with a scarry looking 223 happens as this is all going down. While more people with guns is one answer, the big reason more don't do more to end these situations as they are occurring, is the crucifiction by the media, the crucifiction in court defending their actions, but the fact that even if they were right, the "civil remedies remains unaffected" remains even if use of deadly force was justified.
