Especially after years of the US accusing Russia of meddling in their elections souring the already tense relationship, and now recently after Russia said that we ruined the relations between the two countries after its been revealed that the US was funding biolabs near the border and arming Nazi-aligned groups in their regions.

I think after all of this, Russia would further isolate themselves even when Trump is back in office, or, would not even want to try to mend relations after everything that happened. It's that broken

And now Russia, who should have been integrated with the West, has been isolated and forced into war against their neighbor. At least we are led to believe this here.
