I'm not shocked. It's unbelievably predictable. It reminds me of nerds and losers in highschool. They had "principles" instead of being rejects. They chose to stand alone. And the day they got some attention was the day they suddenly "grew up" and joined the world where the things happen that the smartest and most "principled" among them obsessed over.
Does that make sense? I just woke and boke.
I've always been interested in the psychology of the person that says "you can't fire me, because I quit!" And they actually mean it and are able to extract some measure of relief. Fascinating.
