I remember reading a theory online years ago that basically claimed John Walsh killed his own son, covered it up, then parlayed that into establishing the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (of which he's a board member) and then hosting 'America's Most Wanted.'

At the time, I thought it was ludicrous. Knowing what I know now (especially with these organizations that claim to help children but their real purpose is actually the opposite), it's not out of the realm of possibility.
