Left-wing extremists carry out an attack on the house of Justice Minister Bushman. But politics and media do not report about it.
GELSENKIRCHEN. So far unknown perpetrators have graffitied the house where Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann (FDP) lives and smashed the glass pane in the front door. The attack in Gelsenkirchen, which the attackers claimed responsibility for on the far-left website Indymedia, happened as early as May 19.
But neither the federal government nor the police have yet informed about it. Only Welt columnist Henryk M. Broder drew attention to the attack yesterday. The Ministry of Justice confirmed to him "that there was damage to the front door and graffiti on the residential building where Minister Buschmann has his apartment in Gelsenkirchen."
Threat against Buschmann However, the authority did not answer why it did not inform the public about the attack and a threat associated with it. The left-wing extremists had written on Indymedia: "The influence of transphobic propaganda and anti-feminist lobbying in this area are to be regarded as an existential threat that must be countered early on with maximum decisiveness" before "this threat takes on a genocidal-fascist character."
The confessional ends with a call "for militant self-defense of trans and queer people!" and a call to "fight back if we are to be second-class people!"
Apart from Broder's ironically worded gloss, there has been no news in a mainstream medium about the attack by representatives of the LGBTQ scene on the private sphere of a member of the federal government."
