Started out disagreeing with it being the only way and still disagree with it....

Death-toll would be near guaranteed either way, how large less so, the more overt route would also see many innocent lives lost but at least that would give as many people as possible as much choice and information to base that choice upon as possible....

Insidious deaths where people simply don't know enough to make a choice in regard to what might kill them or save their lives vs running the risk of open warfare where people at least would have that choice...........................

If people will die either way it is better if it happens because of choices they had the opportunity to make rather than as blind lambs led to the slaughter by hands they weren't allowed to see..........................
