Not sure if you remember when the S.B. took up the question of Freemasonry and whether it is compatible with being a Southern Baptist. It was probably 15 or more years ago. I remember that a survey of S.B. ministers revealed that 30% of S.B. Ministers are also active Freemasons. That was the number that admitted to it.

I don't remember ever reading another word about them questioning the subject.

Albert Pike states clearly in his,"Morals and Dogma," that Freemasonry is "identical" with the "Ancient Mysteries." The Ancient Mystery Religion is Paganism - or worship of Lucifer, otherwise known as Satan.

I would not put it all on the Southern Baptists. From the current condition of what calls itself, "Christianity," It is doubtful that any organized Christianity is in any better condition than them.
