Just for the record, I am not a church-goer. That does not work for me. But I am a "listener" and a reader and I try to walk my talk.

People who are incredibly wealthy through leading huge fellowships should be measured by what they do with that wealth and where their hearts are, where their joy resides, about helping their fellow man. By that standard I find nothing but compassion in the lives of Jesse Duplantis, Ken Copeland and Jerry Savelle. I may not always be in the mood for Jesse and Ken but that's just me. But Jerry? That man has had things to say that have helped me immensely along my path in life. Coming to the understanding that each human contributes to God and that the intention of our heart is absolutely key. Doing "good things" without a pure heart is essentially meaningless. Getting right with God and understanding yourself. Worthy goals. The day I found out that "God" was listening when I spoke in prayer and I saw the proof of it, my life changed. And about Jesse, let me tell you, he may be funny, of course he is. Personable. But underneath that? His knowledge is sharp as a blade and he is not messing around. If you know his history, you know how far into the dark territory he was when he was young. Can't fool Jesse. Since I have walked those dark passages too, I like that he knows what he knows.

After spending a long life not understanding what it is that each human contributes to God and that the intention of our heart is absolutely key. Doing "good things" without a pure heart is essentially meaningless. Getting right with God and understanding yourself. Worthy goals. I went 67 years without comprehending why I matter to God. The day I found out that someone was listening when I spoke in prayer and I saw the proof of it, my life changed. And about Jesse, let me tell you, he may be funny, of course he is. Personable.
