I have to say...my sister was well..then she flipped out...not well...had her in a psych ward...medicated...diagnosed as schizophrenic...

Had a baby...flipped out again...had her in a psych ward...thorazine was main medication...

Read Abram Hoffer's book How to Live With Schizophrenia...took her to an Orthmolecular Psychiatrist who used mega doses of B3 and other nutrients to stabilize her...she never flipped out again because if she felt it coming she started the protocol.

There is MUCH more to this story but I know what I saw and I know what the hospital protocol was and then what the Orthomolecular Psychatrist's protocol was...

I am NOT a fan of psychotropic drugs or psychiatrists in general...BUT...I am a fan of Abram Hoffer's work and have seen miraculous results treating mental disorders the same as every other disorder...dis-ease...a chemical imbalance or a vitamin deficiency...just in the brain manifested mentally...

I have studied and read extensively on this and feel that this article is only partially correct...there are just too many lies and half truths in the medical profession...
