Working in the mental health field as a residential staff, I met my first victim of ritual abuse, that got me digging. My older sister, who is more educated than I, worked as a Psychiatric social worker in South Boston, she verified my questions about it, telling me it was not made up, as she had some clients in the State Hospital who talked about what happened to them as kids, that the memories were fuzzy because the children were drugged before bed, then woken up. I can tell you what I saw in Kentucky, at a rest stop, when a man in very fine suit and fancy cowboy hat and boots was escorting an obviously impaired woman in skimpy clothes with her boobs hanging out, and took her to the mens room. I looked to the cleaning woman, she nodded her head and looked away, and then about 4 guys came in and lined up outside the bathroom. They were all white by the way, I had always expected the stereotypical black pimp. I knew better than to alert the police, because I was sure they were all in on it. I had a good friend who used to talk about a friend that she had who "lost it", and was paranoid all the time due to ritual abuse. I was fascinated and dubious, I admit. When I asked my friend if it was satanism, she said that it was more than that, that it was a syndicate of very wealthy men high up in the executive departments of Oil companies. Politically, I have always been aware of the corruptions and manipulations Governments will use against their people to keep them towing the line and trusting them. Its a big order, it is everywhere that power over people rules. I had to sit with a suicidal kid who talked all night, the story was the same as others I heard. The parents were respectable, they went to church, and they also prostituted their daughter. I heard this in Massachusetts, in Florida, and in Missouri, all the places I had worked in this field with young people in psychiatric residential programs, and then again in Vermont. I am not a therapist of a social worker, just always worked as a direct care staff with the residents in various half way houses, but, as that staff, they would talk to me, especially because I usually worked 2nd shift or overnights, and people who have gone through this do not sleep at night.
