Based on alchemical and old navigation symbols The Circle and dot is symbol for the sun. Triangle pointing down is earth or water/ocean. Lines can mean many things, vapor, Shiva's threefold power (in a certain religion) or imply sun falling maybe. I see from searching that the symbols are not always in the same direction..sometimes sun on bottom, sometimes top. Maybe just another distraction?
