During my 4 years of highschool in 98-02, FCA (Fellowship for Christian Athletes) was phased out and replaced by a new bacterial cult known as GSA.

Sucks cause freshman year, we had NFL player Kevin Carter who led the NFL the previous year in sacks come to a meeting my sister held at our house! He was amazing and joined our church for a few years until he was traded to the Titans. He saw my brother and I had size 16 shoes and as a surprise mailed us High end Nike running shoes and even the epic Pippen basketball shoes because he said he would never use the 100 pairs he was allotted of shoes per year from his NFL contracts. Such a cool dude. By senior year FCA went from it’s own small office in our hallway, relegated to a mere mounted folder on the same door of the hamfisted rebranded GSA office.
