Like all fictional masterpieces, Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy was full of transcendent TRUTH. In Tolkien's trilogy, in order to survive, the inhabitants put aside their ancient grievances so they could unite and survive the forces seeking to destroy them all.
During this real war with the real Mordor, hopefully enough real people have the wisdom Tolkien's fictional characters displayed.
