If an international distribution deal had been signed before Disney even acquired 21st Century Fox how is that consistent with your claim Disney tried to prevent its release?

"Harmon and Monteverde's accounts of wrestling the rights to the movie back off Disney are true"

And if that is in fact true I ask my original question, if Disney didn't want it released why did they let the rights to it go to people who want to release it?

If an international distribution deal had been signed before Disney even acquired 21st Century Fox doesn't that basically invalidate your initial claim that Disney sat on it for 5 years, since the movie was only filmed in 2018?
