Since Adventism embraces mostly traditional Protestantism and therefore identifies Rome as Mystery Babylon, it lines right up with his feelings about the Roman Catholic Church.

And I'll be honest. Most of the problems I have with Adventism are about interpretations that do not impact salvation.

Does it matter if they believe Christ in his role as high priest stepped into the inner chambers of the heavenly sanctuary in 1844? (This is the Investigative Judgment teaching, their interpretation of the 2300 day prophecy in Daniel 8.)

As long as they don't deny Christ is the high priest, I don't think it does.

I do think it's fruitful to study Adventist theology as 99% of it is a snapshot of what all Christians believed before Dispensationalism took hold.
