Not so say that is all that they were, but roll with me. The 'plan' included the release of this film along with securing funding for the border wall and the crackdown on those involved in trafficking. We know what followed. Disney bought the film to block it's release, democrats blocked the wall funding and things didn't happen the way we wish they did. The plan simply didn't come together and was pushed back, and this is a contingency plan of sorts. I wouldn't be surprised if the money that Angel Studios used to purchase the film back came from Trump's team.
The reason this is being rolled out now, Trump is in real trouble. If he doesn't manage to win the election and pardon himself, he likely is going down and will be jailed for life. He has no choice but to win, and to prosecute those that would prosecute him after he leaves office. He has to pull out all the stops.
