We, the US and West, are not the badasses we sell ourselves to be. I'm saying this as a veteran myself. The last war we won was WWII and without the help of the Russians, who lost an estimated 29+ million lives, we wouldn't have won that war. We didn't win in Korea, Vietnam or any other "conflicts" since then. Our latest debacle was Afghanistan. We could have won those wars because we have the best warriors on the planet but our leadership and pols are pure shit. The leaders are/were political officers and flags interested only in boosting their careers. The politicians were more interested in prolonging the wars at the behest of lobbyists and to pad their pockets with kickbacks. No amount of cool toys can make up for shit leaders and candy ass ROEs.
