Maybe the destruction of the military was the intention, but I tend to think the 'coup' was driven by puffed-up ideology and stupidity, So, given that there are people who think differently, and given that the USA is suffering an actual invasion from the Southern Border, and given that NATO is collapsing in on itself, and given that some are realizing that USA is certainly NOT ready to fight other superpowers (i.e. start a war with China), and despite the Neo-Cohen posturing, I think a military countercoup WILL be enacted. Not sure when though. We shall see, I guess.
