I was in Costco shopping in Feb 2020 (right before lockdowns, masks, dividers and any general public knowledge of the virus.) I admit to being a prolific researcher on all thing CV-19, and had been following what was happening in China for 3 months. I felt strongly I should quickly gather my supply stash before the thing hit the U.S.
While going down one wide aisle, I could see an older Asian man standing by himself in the middle of the long walkway between sections of the warehouse. He stared straight ahead. He had no cart, just stood there with people passing him on both sides. I watched him and he conjured up a big breath, threw his hands out to his sides and coughed real hard out into the busy thoroughfare. It was ABSOLUTELY INTENTIONAL.
I immediately reversed my direction and went to the opposite way.
