Im not buying this. Kenya is one of the Nations applying to BRICS. For a few months they have been trying to put together a coalition of African Nations to help in Haiti. This sounds like gatekeeper bullshit to me. I dont believe the US holds sway over any African Nation any longer. They have all moved firmly into the BRICS/Russia/China camp.
