I’d also like to point out that the law only states that the motto has to be displayed. It doesn’t say “Christian God”, “Trump God”, or “Climate God”. It says “In God We Trust”. The same motto in our Pledge and on our money. To argue “church and state” is to argue that the public school system is a political organization, which it’s not. Nobody’s forcing the kids pray to anything, so you can take your “church and state” and shove it.
